For some reason I like the term "abject squaller". Don't ask me why, but I was repeating it to myself while installing our laminate flooring this weekend. It took me, my wife, my father, and his wife about 26 hours, well.. my dad and his wife were not helping the entire time. They got it started, and finished the hall for us. All in all, we did about 607 square feet of laminate. Living room, hall way, and master bedroom. It was really fun. My dad and wife trusted me with power tools. Which was a strange thing... I managed to keep all my fingers. Our next project is to paint and reinstall the base boards. Then we are done. WOOHOO!.
