Happy Belated Father's Day to all the fathers out there!

This weekend was good. The family packed up and went to Kelly Springs State Park, only to be turned away because they were full. We were meeting some church friends and ended up going back to one of their houses, cooked out and went to the pool. It was a good time. Then Sunday I was able to sleep in and my daughter woke up me. I love when she comes in to wake me. :) Then we met with my father for the father's day dinner. During dinner, my dad got a call from someone wanting to see our house. W00t! Dad also put faxed the bid on the house we wanted. I know this is a long shot, but it would be nice to get accepted on our offer and an offer on our house the same day. Tina and I discussed it and we would be willing to lose whatever pocket change we would get from our house as long as we got our FHA approval on the other house.

We will see.

Oh, my father day gift was a new weed whacker/trimmer. We went to Sears to look at them. As we were walking in, a group of women were being herded back into the store by LP for shop lifting. The guilty until proven innocent party was screaming at the top of her lungs "I didn't do it! I DIDN'T DO IT! If something is in my bag it was put there by mistake! I'M NOT GOING THROUGH THIS AGAIN!". Wow... way to admit your guilt there sweetheart. A little piece of advice next time, you should have just KEPT ON WALKING. You were all ready out the door. Who cares if there is a large man blocking your way. Legally he cannot frickin' touch you. Just take your spoils and leave!
